Albuquerque ACRE Club

Some History On The Club:

A.C.R.E. (Albuquerque Congress On Real Estate)

The Albuquerque ACRE Club has been in continuous operation since 1983. At that time the group had about 150 members and was known as the Albuquerque RAND Group (Robert Allen Nothing Down). Most of us got involved with the club after attending a $500 weekend seminar that Robert Allen put on. It sounds expensive even by todays standards but it was well worth it. I actually have a newsletter from The club dated November 1983 that shows the club name as Albuquerque RAND Group.

A membership renewal application for 1984 shows that ACRE is the national orginazation and that the Albuquerque RAND Group is the local organization. Dues in 1984 were $10 National and $25 Local.

Currently the club has an open membership policy and to be a member an investor or other interested party simply attends the meeting and pays $5 in dues for each meeting that they attend. As an incentive to join as an annual member the club offers a full years paid membership at $35 per year.

Meeting Location And Times Are.

 The group meets on the fourth Tuesday at 6:00PM at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 8600 Academy in Northeast Albuquerque. The meeting room number is Room 407 which is located just indide the door in the rear of the complex.

The meeting room will be open at 6:00PM for member networking and the meeting will start at 6:45PM. Networking will also be available after the meeting for those who are interested. Feel free to bring a sack dinner or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage (coffee and water will be available).
